James also builds custom fly benches along with custom rods. His feel for rod building goes way back. He has been bass fly fishing since he was a kid. James also tournament fished for Daiwa for a number of years. No one knows the feel of a rod and how it should function better than this guy.

Sara commercially fished for 6 years on the Carolina coast and retired to flyfishing when she had children of her own.
